Love him or hate him, Ken Rockwell is a big advocate of JPEGs and only shoots in this format. All his pictures are straight out of camera, always have been.

I switched to RAW from JPEG and to Lightroom from Luminar, but as the photos just sit there waiting for me to do something with them I may just switch back. Luminar of course has the advantage of just having to pay once for it, no subscription.

Apple Photos is where I keep them anyhow to have them to hand always (otherwise what's the point?).
